The GSI is in search of engaged and target oriented Student apprentices for its branches.

The independent and creative collaboration on a practice related task will offer you a comprehensive insight into welding technological research work.  

Make use of the opportunity to extend your theoretical knowledge by means of valuable experience in the form of independent project work. Our highly qualified teams offer you the expert support you need.  
You will profit from our contacts to industry and university.

The fields of activity are among others: Set up and performance of tests (recording), materials testing, metallography, documentation, image processing etc.  
You will participate in the development of processes and equipment of fully mechanised welding processes, among others friction welding, resistance welding, stud welding, gas shielded welding (Gas metal arc welding, TIG, plasma), laser beam material processing or processing of matters concerning materials engineering and testing technology, respectively.
