Representatives of NAKS - the National Agency for control of welding technology in Russia have visited the SLV Duisburg on April 28th, 2014. The aim of the visit was the continuation of regular consultations between NAK and the GSI on training and testing of welders and welding supervisors and training and testing in the field of nondestructive testing.
This was the first time that NAKS delegation had the opportunity to get to know in detail the work of a welding teaching and a research institute in the fields of education, technology and research.
Detailed technical discussions related to the new developments in soldering technology and the joining of plastics. Other fields of possible cooperation were discussed, and the remain of particular interest with common trade fairs in Russia.
