The first training course for globally recognized coating inspectors took place from February 13th to 26th 2016 in Gliwice, Poland. The introduction of the course in Polish language enjoyed enormous demand, which exceeded all expectations.
For about two weeks 26 participants were prepared for the exam and were taught in general basics of surface treatment as well as in several fields of knowledge, analogous to the training course contents of SLV Duisburg. Among other things the covered topics included corrosion protection, chemistry of coating materials, work performance and supervision of coating works.
In addition to the extensive theory practical contents were part of the preparation and the subsequent examination.
The practical and theoretical examination took place on 25thand 26th of February and was examined by Polish-speaking representatives of FROSIO.
The effective implementation in the national language resulted in high success rates as we are used to achieve in Duisburg and we look forward to the next training courses in Poland.
